"A Matter of Time"  is a lighthearted novel by Todd White that takes place in Morrisville, PA in lower Bucks County.
Joey Simon was born and raised in Morrisville, Pa in Bucks County. Growing up in a small town such as Morrisville has its advantages and disadvantages. Friendships last a lifetime and there is comfort and security in that. Joey Simon felt fortunate to be living in Morrisville where he had friends all over town. But one disadvantage is news travels fast through the Morrisville grapevine and Joey was part of that grapevine. He was having trouble paying rent on his one room apartment on Bridge Street, and really didn't want to be  sharing this with everybody in town, especially after a brief encounter with two out of town strangers has him questioning his own sanity. And of course this is when his high school sweetheart returns to town throwing him into an ever tightening tailspin. "A Matter Of Time" is not a love story, but sweet and lovely Amy Gilbert is the glue that keeps Joey Simon in touch with reality.
With the Delaware River as a backdrop and downtown Morrisville as the stage, this novel takes the reader on a short trip through a small American town. Yes, Morrisville, PA is a real town and the Delaware River is a real river, but all the characters are fictitious. However the aura is real.
